TBA statement: Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association is deeply saddened by the recent announcement of the death of Her Majesty The Queen. Buckingham Palace confirmed that Queen Elizabeth II died on the afternoon of Thursday, 8 September at Balmoral.

The Queen had been a loyal patron of the Association since 1954, maintaining an ardent interest in thoroughbred breeding, bloodstock and racing throughout her entire life. On behalf of the board of trustees, executive and the entire thoroughbred breeding community, the TBA sends its deepest condolences to all members of The Royal Family at this time.
