The programme covers the complete lifecycle of stud farm operations, combining veterinary science, practical management, and commercial expertise. Over three intensive days, participants will gain in-depth knowledge across key areas including:
Breeding and Reproduction - Learn about the mare's reproductive cycle, management strategies for optimal fertility, and the latest veterinary techniques in equine breeding. Sessions cover everything from conception through to early pregnancy development.
Health and Veterinary Care - Comprehensive coverage of equine health management, from biosecurity protocols and abortion prevention to respiratory disorders, dentistry, and parasite control. Lectures address the specific needs of different age groups, including post-foaling complications, common conditions in newborn foals, and diseases affecting older foals and yearlings.
