TBA CHAIR PHILIP NEWTON PRESENTS AT 41ST ASIAN RACING CONFERENCE

Last week, TBA Chair Philip Newton addressed over 650 delegates from across 40 nations at the 41st Asian Racing Conference in Riyadh. The keynote speaker on a panel about the future sustainability of racing and breeding and also representing the ITBF, Newton highlighted the global decline in the foal crop and talked about some of the GB-led initiatives to help underpin the foal crop including the success of GBB, but also emphasised the ongoing and urgent need for a new funding solution in Britain and for greater international collaboration to ensure a sustainable future for the sport.
