Help the TBA’s work on employee recruitment and retention
The TBA is asking employers to complete a survey on recruitment, retention and skills in the breeding industry.
The TBA is aware that the recruitment and retention of employees in the breeding industry has become increasingly challenging in recent years, with current pressures including new immigration policies, the coronavirus pandemic and the strong employment market. The TBA’s Education and Employment Committee works with the National Stud, the BHA and other partners on industry recruitment, retention and training initiatives, and up-to-date information is needed to ensure that activity in this area is focussed where the industry needs it most.
An online survey will be circulated to employers during the week commencing Monday, 24 January. The survey, which is funded by the Racing Foundation, is being conducted on behalf of the TBA by independent research company, Public Perspectives Ltd. and employers will be contacted directly with a link to the survey. Findings from the survey will be published later in the year.
