Changes to TBA Board of Trustees post 2023 Annual General Meeting

Julian Richmond-Watson’s term of office as a TBA Trustee and Chair will be ending at the 2023 AGM on 6 October. Julian has chaired the TBA Board since July 2015 and has been instrumental in overseeing the charity’s continued development, and expertly guided it through a period of major geo-political challenge and racing industry change.

The TBA Trustees have confirmed that the current Deputy Chair Philip Newton will become Chair following this year’s AGM, with elected Trustee Kate Sigsworth stepping into the role of Deputy Chair. This will ensure continuity at a critical time for the British racing and breeding industry as the new industry strategy is developed and implemented.

Both the incoming Chair and Deputy Chair have attended a number of recent member events, and look forward to meeting more breeders in the coming months including at the AGM in October.
