Careers at The TBA - Bloodstock Executive and Communications Co-ordinator
The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA) is a charity whose purpose is to improve the sustainability, resilience and impact of the British breeding industry by safeguarding the legacy of world class British breeding for racing and future generations to come.
We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
BLOODSTOCK EXECUTIVE
This new role will be responsible for implementing the activity of the TBA’s Flat and NH Committees, including industry schemes, projects and events.
The role will include:
- Responsibility for the organisation of the Flat & NH Committees.
- Delivery of associated TBA events.
- Management, budget and delivery of the NH Elite Mares Scheme.
- Production of written articles for magazine and website content.
- Securing partners for TBA events and managing relationship with key supporters.
- Project management for committees as requested
The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of the breeding and racing industry, strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience of event and project management.
COMMUNICATIONS CO-ORDINATOR
The role will assist with the delivery of the TBA’s marketing and communications plans, including the Association’s events and sponsorships. Responsibilities will include:
- Administration of the website.
- Supporting the delivery of events.
- Social media and video content production (to include occasional weekend cover)
- Race sponsorship activation
- Production of TBA publications
- Co-ordination of membership mailings (print & digital)
The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of the breeding industry, plus strong IT and administration skills. Experience of marketing, event planning and/or project management is desirable.
A full UK driving licence is essential for both roles.
