The TBA, along with the British EBF, is pleased to announce that seven NH studs will open their doors during the weekend of January 10-11.
The new initiative has been created to provide a dedicated platform for UK-based National Hunt stallion masters’ to showcase their stallions directly to NH breeders or those considering entering breeding their mares’ ahead of the forthcoming breeding season, as well as providing a unique opportunity for the wider public to see the daily workings and practices of some of Britain’s leading National Hunt stallion studs.
On Saturday, January 10, Mickley Stud, Shade Oak Stud, Willow Wood Stud and Yorton Stud will open their doors to attendees. On Sunday, January 11, Batsford Stud, Chapel Stud and Overbury Stud will be open to visitors.
Opening for one day enables attendees to plan visits easily within geographic clusters, and all studs will be open between 10am and 3.30pm, although there might be slight variances.
The NH Open Weekend is a FREE event, and visitors are asked to register which studs they intend to visit below.
