The TBA has announced a brand-new Cheltenham Festival Bloodstock Preview which will take place on Thursday 7 March from 6.30pm and will focus its attention on some of the main breeding influences going into this year’s Festival.

Featuring a first-class panel, the online preview will be hosted by bloodstock enthusiast, Jess Stafford (Racing TV), who will be joined by experts including: leading Irish broadcaster Jane Mangan (Racing TV), Bertrand Le Metayer (BLM Bloodstock), Victor Connolly (Burgage Stud) and David Futter (Yorton Farm Stud).

Cheltenham previews have always been a popular and key part of the build-up to the four-day Festival in March, but this live webinar which is FREE to join and open to anyone will point the spotlight on the bloodstock and breeding influences from the UK, France and Ireland.

Some of the topics due to be covered include the success of French breeding in recent years and what has set them apart in their strength, depth and versatility. In turn, how the British and Irish breeders have responded to this and what they can do to combat and evolve their strategy. David Futter of Yorton Farm is in a strong position to comment on this given he was the man who brought Blue Bresil, sire of Constitution Hill, to England from France and is co-breeder of this year's Gold Cup contender, Gentlemansgame alongside the late Maggie Luck.

The Championship races will be dissected through the knowledge of our panellists with attention given to the sires and dams to focus on for the showpiece in March.
