Liberty Bella earns her second NH MOPS bonus in just two weeks

Liberty Bella was awarded her second consecutive NHMOPS bonus following her win in the MansionBet Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at Hereford Racecourse on Wednesday.  The five-year-old mare has now earnt £20,000 in NHMOPS bonuses in just two weeks.

She was bred, owned and trained by Brian Eckley, who operates in Powys, Wales where he trains just eight horses.

Liberty Bella is the second foal out of the mare Classy Crewella, who was also trained by Mr Eckley, and is by former Yorton Stud resident Librettist.  She has now won two of her three starts over hurdles and will likely be aimed at the Grade 2 EBF/Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association Mares’ NH Novices’ Hurdle Finale in March.
