Stud Staff Award March 2008 - Nicola Jones

Nicola Jones of Glebe Stud

The March 2008 Stud Staff Award winner is Nicola Jones from Glebe Stud. Nicola has worked at the stud for 3 years, having previously spent time in a hunting yard and Redwings Horse Sanctuary in Norfolk. Described by stud owner Julia Scott as very keen and willing to learn, Nicola has made excellent progress under the guidance of Stud Groom Graham Nicklin, and now foals mares and takes charge of the stud in his absence.

In addition to demonstrating high standards and great dedication, in her spare time Nicola takes a keen interest in pedigrees and in following horses sold from Glebe Stud. A cheerful personality and ability to get on well with stud clients are two additional qualities which make her a great asset to her employer, and a deserving winner of this month’s Award.
