It is vital to get hands-on familiarity with breeding stock, whichever aspect of the industry you wish to work in. This can be achieved through gaining work experience on a stud, or by attending one of the specialist residential courses held at the National Stud in Newmarket.
Health and Safety Courses 2008
Two IOSH Managing Safely Training Courses, will be held at the British Racing School near Newmarket in 2008. These 4-day courses are designed for managers and supervisors in any organisation and will provide the skills necessary to handle health and safety matters in the workplace.
