New Bloodstock Editor @ Thoroughbred Owner & Breeder magazine
Emma Berry has joined Thoroughbred Owner & Breeder as bloodstock editor, having been a freelance contributor to the magazine since its inception. She has a solid background in journalism and bloodstock, having been deputy editor of both Horse And Hound and Pacemaker, and having contributed to several racing and breeding publications including the Racing Post and the Australian periodical The Thoroughbred.
Emma brings much more to the role than just her experience as a journalist. She lives in Newmarket and is a member of the TBA who owns one broodmare. Her first homebred yearling has just gone into training and she also owns a share in the bumper winner Anis Etoile.
She said: “My lifelong passion for horses developed into one for thoroughbred racing and breeding in general and for British breeding and its participants in particular. I’m delighted to be become a permanent member of the editorial team and, as bloodstock editor, I look forward to continuing to develop the excellent coverage in this sector.”
Emma would be pleased to hear the views of TBA members and can be contacted on emma*atsymbol*beverleyhousestables.com
