July 9th, 2014, Newmarket: Endeavouring to ensure that they continue to add value to membership The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA) are delighted to be launching today a new TBA offering that will help members and their businesses save money.
As the racing world gathers in Newmarket for the July Festival the Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association (TBA) last night celebrated another remarkable year for breeders at the 2014 TBA Awards. Kindly sponsored by Cheveley Park Stud, guests were welcomed to a stallion parade, hosted by Mr and Mrs Thompson, before applauding this year’s award winners at the dinner and prestigious ceremony.
The ever popular programme of Regional Day, put on by the TBA, kicks off in April and runs throughout the year. These events are a great way of meeting like-minded people from your area and visiting places which you might not necessarily get the chance to under normal circumstances. The events for 2014 are as follows...
The TBA has a number of exciting and interesting events due to take place this summer...
KINGMAN cemented his position as the leading miler in Britain when defeating Toronado with his customary electric turn of foot, though victory was not completely straightforward.
SNOW SKY did not impress in the preliminaries, being coltish and getting sweaty on the way to the start, but he was a different proposition in the race, grinding out victory for Sir Michael Stoute.
WARWICK will stop staging Flat fixtures from next year with the course giving up its dual-purpose status to concentrate solely on jump racing.
