The Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association Golf Day Mares’ Only Maiden Hurdle Race, 7th January 2008

Each year the TBA organises a Golf Weekend, and two racecourses are pulled out of a hat to host a Flat and a National Hunt race, the prize money is raised through sponsorship and the generosity of the players. In 2007 golfers went to the Celtic Manor Resort in the Usk Valley, and £3000 was raised to go towards the National Hunt race which was to be held at Taunton.
Michael Falkiner of Downclose Stud, the TBA Regional Representative for the South West attended the race meeting on behalf of the TBA.

Bred and owned by David Jenks of Hartshill Stud, a longstanding TBA member.
